Key Responsibilities:
- Application Operations: Manage and oversee the operation of various software applications, ensuring their reliability, performance, and availability.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise in the operation of applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks to optimize application performance.
- Incident Response: Act swiftly in response to incidents, outages, or disruptions, applying problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and impact.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to application operations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Several years of experience in software engineering and application operations.
- Proficiency in application monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Remote work experience is desirable.
